The second season of the American superhero television series Peacemaker is based on the eponymous character from DC Comics.
While the first season is a spin-off from the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film The Suicide Squad (2021), the second season is set in the DC Universe (DCU) which is a "soft reboot" of the DCEU.
The season continues the story of jingoistic mercenary Chris Smith / Peacemaker, who finds an alternate dimension where his father and brother are still alive and the family together is a highly regarded superhero team. It is set after the events of the DCU film Superman (2025). It is produced by DC Studios with James Gunn as showrunner.
